Q

Outline the mechanism for this elimination reaction

A
  1. Electron pair -> H+
  2. Bond (R-O) -> O (H2O should have been produced by now)
  3. H-C bond opposite CH2 with lone electron -> the bond between the R groups
    You will have formed an alkene and a H+ ion.
