the way the author develops the characters personalities
What are the six types of characters in a story
Flat, static, dynamic, round, protagonist, and antagonists
What is a flat character
A flat character is not well developed the reader knows only one or two traits, their personality and importance to the story can be summed up in one our two sentences
What is a round character
A round character is well developed the reader knows many of their traits they may be complicated. They may feel vibrant and real like a person in real life
What is a static character
A static character is a character that does not grow or change during the story their personality and attitude stays the same
What is a dynamic character
A dynamic character is a character who undergoes growth and change during the story
What is a protagonist
A protagonist is the main character who is often the good guy or hero this is usually the character who starts the action in the story
What is an antagonist
A antagonist is a character that works against the protagonist occasionally this is a force(time etc.) rather than a character

The three types of points of view are 1st person 2nd person and third person point of view
