What is an electronic system?
A series of parts or components that control a task or activity.
What is an input?
Information/Energy that enters a system
What is a process?
Anything that happens to the input inside of the system.
What is an output?
The information/Energy that exits a system.
What is meant by Subsystem?
Events/Tasks that happen within a system.
Draw a System Diagram
Input -> Process -> Output
What is an Open loop system?
They do not make decisions based upon feedback.
What is a Closed loop system?
They make decisions based upon feedback.
Name at least two input devices.

What is meant by Digital signal?
They are either on or off and are represented by 0 or 1
What is meant by an Analogue signal?
It can have an infinite range of values between min and max.
What is a PIC?
It is a microcontroller, that can be programmed to do a task.
What meant by monostable?
One time only.
What is meant by astable?
It alternates between on or off.
