Structure of sub shells
1st shell : 1S
2nd shell: 2S, 2P
3rd shell: 3S,3P, 3D
4th shell: 4S, 4P, 4D, 4F
Number of electrons that the first four electrons can hold.
1st: 1S = 2.
2nd: 2S,2P: 2+(3x2)= 8
3rd: 3S,3P,3D: 2+(3x2)+(5x2)=18.
4th: 4S,4P,4D,4F: 2+(3x2)+(5x2)+(7x2) =32
