A
Accessory conduction pathway from atria to ventricles through the bundle of Kent, causing premature ventricular excitation bc. it lacks the delay seen in AV-node

How to diagnose WPW?
A
- narrow QRS complex tachycardia
- short PR interval
- delta wave

How to treat WPW?
A
- Radiofrequency catheter ablation
- Drugs: procainamide, quinidine, avoid drugs that works on AV-node(digoxin, verapamil, B-blockers)
