Electricity Stuff Flashcards
What is a conductor?
A conductor is substances/materials that allows free flow of electrons through them.
What is it insulator?
An insulator or substances/materials that don’t allow free flow of electrons through them.
What is a series circuit?
A series circuit is when the electric current travels along one path.
What is a parallel circuit?
A parallel circuit is when there is more than one path through/along which current flows.
What is electric current?
Electric current is the rate of flow of electric charge.
What is potential difference?
Potential difference is energy conflicted from electrical energy to other forms when one column of charge passes between two ends of a conductor.
What is a resistance?
A resistance is inversely proportional to current. It is the opposition to the flow of elections.
What is a circuit?
A circuit is a closed path through which an electric current can flow.
