What does ignition of AUTO/OFF/CONT mean

A

OFF - No ignition (ignition during start unaffected)
AUTO - Activated when negative torque detected
CONT - Ignition is ON continuously. To be used in heavy rain / ice or air starts

How does Standby Power assist system

A

Standby Power turned on after start.
Separate Alternator provides standby power.
STBY ELEC PWR INOP light should be off
Shares the load in parallel with generator - approx 10%
If generator fails, takes whole load - max 75amp

What are the START MODE settings

A

No effect other than during startup/motoring
PARA/SERIES - Parallel (24V), then series at 10% RPM (48V) to help acceleration
PARA - Parallel only
MOTOR - No ignition - used to purge fuel for 10 seconds after failed start.
