Electric field direction
A
Positive test charges move from a high potential to a low potential. Electric field lines show the direction that a positive test charge accelerates, from high to low potential

- The terminals of the power supply could be reversed
- This means photoelectrons would do work against the electric field to cross the potential difference
- The potential difference is now negative as opposed to positive
