What are the two types of charge?
Static and moving
Electric load
A device that transforms the electric energy into other forms of electricity
Examples: oven-heat, speakers-sound, fan-wind
Electric curcut
A complete pathway for electrons that allow current to flow so electric energy works.
How does a chemical cell work?
Chemical energy in a cell gives electrons on the negative terminal electric potential energy.
- electrons are attached to positive terminal
- when electrons reach the positive terminal the circuit is complete
The 4 basic parts to a circuit
Source, conductor, load, switch

Example: cell, battery

The wire through which current flows
Load

A device that can turn the circuit on or off by closing or opening the circuit

A continuous flow of charge
-only works when there is a complete circuit for e- to flow
