What are some of the problems that can be caused due to static electricity
As an aircraft flies, the friction generated can cause the aircraft to become charged. When the plane lands, the charges can cause a spark during refueling, leading to a massive explosion if it ignites the fuel. Therefore, the airplanes are grounded before refueling starts after its journey
How is electrostatic paint spraying helpful
Because as the paint drops go out of the paint gun, the paint drops are charged. The bicycle frame is attached to a wire that gives the frame an opposite charge. This means that the paint drops will get attracted to the bicycle frame because opposite charges attract.
How do ink-jet printer work
The ink drops are charged and are sent through 2 deflecting plates. The charges on the plates charge thousands of times per second, which means that the plates can very easily position the ink drops exactly on the paper.
