A
If patient tells you,
Inconsistent history,
Agitated state,
Social isolation,
Physical injuries,
Malnutrition or volume depletion,
Improper medicines use,
Substance abuse,
Pressure ulcers,
Shappy appearence

What should you do if you suspect elder abuse?
A
Get social work involved.
Other options if you suspect abuse = temporary hospitalisation, obtaining court order, placing patient in safe home
