Witness relaying what they observed
Anecdote?
A short, often funny story, especially about something someone has done:
He told one or two amusing anecdotes about his years as a policeman
Analogy?
Saying something is like something else to make some sort of explanatory point. (also compares things): Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get.
Juxtaposition?
Placing two things side by side so as to highlight their differences: Wealth and poverty, beauty and ugliness, or darkness and light.
