What are the different components of plot?

What is the exposition in a plot?

The main idea or ideas in the story. Can include questions or statements.
What is the conflict in Story Elements?
The problem in the story.
What is the Resolution in Story Elements?
The end result of the story; how the conflict gets fixed.

In a story, the main idea or concept that summarizes the story. (One Word)
What is theme?
The moral or message of a story using the topic to determine this. (One Sentence)
