The Indicative Mood
- Present/present progressive/imperfect/imperfect progressive/preterit tenses
- expresses truth and reality
- indicates and reports something
- concrete (what it is, what exists, what one can see, hear, touch, smell, think, believe, etc.
The Subjunctive Mood
- Present subjunctive tenses (WEIRDO)
- expresses doubts, wishes, hopes, requests, commands, etc.
- there is always some aspect not known or not controllable.
- not concrete (not real)
Main clause contains:
MUST be a change in subject in the dependent/subordinate clause. (Subjunctive is ONLY in the dependent or subordinate clause)

Stem changing rule
Only -ir stem changing verbs will change in the Nosotros and VOsotros from (e-i) (e-u). -Ar and -er verbs are “shoe verbs”
