EL condicional perfecto Flashcards

Q
The conditional perfect (expressed in English by ‘would have + past participle of the main verb) is used for the following purposes:
- It indicates an action that would have taken place (but didn’t), if a certain condition had been true. Ex. Had I known he was here, I would have come.
- It refers to a future action in relation to the past. Ex. He said that by May he would have returned to Ecuador.
The conditional perfect is formed with the conditional of the verb ‘haber + past participle of the main verb
