Ventricular fibrillation

A

Attempt Defibrillation if failed use medication
Amioderone- 300mg slow IV push over 1-2 minutes in 10cc NS
Lidocaine- 1-1.5mg/kg IV/IO push Repeat q 3-5 minutes (Max dose 3mg)

Ventricular Tachycardia with a Pulse

A

Amioderone- 150mg slow push over 1-2 minutes in Normal Saline 0.5-1mg per minute
Lidocaine- 1-1.5mg/kg IV/IO push,
2nd dose - 0.5-0.75 mg/kg IV/IO push Q 5-10 minutes (Max 3mg/kg) Then start drip at 2-4mg/min
