16
Q

What are the Heart Valves and the 2 main Circulations of the Heart ?

A
Pulmunory System
Atrioventricular valve (AV Valve)
Tricuspid - Valve
Bicuspid - Valve (mitral)
      Systemic System
Semi lunar
Half moon shaped - valve
Pulmonary
Aortic

Two main Circulation =

Systemic Circulation N Pulmonary Circulation

17
Q

What is the Apex?

A

The apical pulse
Point of the Heart at the bottom
Stethoscope to hear

18
Q

What Is the Blood Supply to the Heart ?

A

Right Coronary
Left Coronary
Left Anterior Descending
Circumflex

19
Q

What is the collateral Circulation?

A

Arteries creating alternative places to send circulation

Arteries are blocked and no blood is going through if it becomes blocked

20
Q

The systemic Circulation is where ?

A

On the Left side of the Heart with the Bicuspid (Mitral) valve

21
Q

The Pulmonary Circulation is located where?

A

On the Right side of the Heart with the Tricuspid valve

22
Q

What is the normal pulse rate or Normal Sinus Rhythm?

A

60- 100 bpm

Lower than 60 = Bradi cardia or
slow Heart

Lower than 100 = Thachy Cardia or
Fast Heart

23
Q

B/P = Blood Pressure

What is the normal blood pressure rate? Which number is the diastolic and systolic?

A

90/60 - 140/190

The top # 140= Systolic
The bottom# 190 = Diastolic

Systolic= highest pressure result of ventricular contraction

Diastolic= Lowst pressure when ventricles are relaxed

24
Q

What is the Cardiac Cycle

A

Cardiac cycle includes all events occurring in the Heart during one single heartbeat. They include Depolarization or contraction of the Heart muscle.

Cardiac impulse can be recorded on EKG machine

25
Q

What is the Sinoatrial Node or SA Node?

A

Each Cardiac Cycle or HEARTBEAT starts with the SA Node giving off electrical Impulse. Specialized electrical conduction system of Heart initiates each heartbeat. Main part of of System is SA Node.

Located upper back wall of right Atrium.

26
Q

What is the Order of blood To The Heart?

A
  1. Sinoatrial Node (SA) or PaceMaker
  2. Internodal Pathways
  3. Artiventricular Node (AV)
  4. Atrioventricular Bundle (Bundle of His)
  5. Right Bundle Branch
  6. Left Bundle Branch
  7. Purkinje Fibers (Pumpkin)
27
Q

Ekg machine

What is the speed of the EKG machine

A

Must be 25mm/s

1mv/10mm = minivoltio/milímeter

28
Q

On the EKG sheet every little square measures how much ?

A

0.04 secs

29
Q

On the EKG sheet The large box measures?

A

0.02 Secs

Large box will always have 5 boxes inside

30
Q

The first wave will be called?

A

The P Wave. - it is the Depolarization of the Atrium (0.08-0.10 secs)

Followed by QRS

31
Q

What is QRS?

A

The Depolarization of Ventricles

0.06-0.10 sec

32
Q

What is the T Wave

A

The T Wave comes AFTEr the QRS Wave

T Wave represented by the Repolaraztion or Relaxation of the Ventricle 0.20 sec

33
Q

What is the PRI?

A

It is under the P Wave is the conduction of the impulse & delay of impulse
(AV Node) 0.12-0.20 Sec

34
Q

What is the ST on EKG sheet?

A

Pause between the Depo & Repo under the T Wave 0.14-0.16 sec
