Q

What is a characteristic to distinguish LAFB on EKG?

A
  • -prolonged R-wave peak time in aVL (>45 msec) (1.5 tiny boxes)
  • -qRs in I and aVL
  • -rSs in II, III, aVF

Q

What is voltage criteria for LVH?

A
  • -S in V1 + R in V6 >35
  • -R in aVL > 11
  • -TWI in V5-V6, I, aVL (from left ventricular strain; NOT seen in LAFB although LAFB can meet voltage criteria)
