What is a verb?
an action word or a state-of-being word
action verb: giggle, dream, rush, breathe
state-of-being verb: was, is , are, were
linking verbs are state of being verbs that link the subject of a sentence to another word

A preposition is a word the connects one word to another to show a relationship in time, space, and relationship
A preposition MUST have an object to connect to. If there is no object of the preposition, there is no preposition

It is a word that describe or modify nouns

Words that describe or modify verbs, adjectives, or other adverbs.
