What is the National Recovery administration/ what did it do?
Idea was to give workers money to spend without overproducing and causing a slump
Voluntary but business were encouraged to join so that they could use the blue eagle to show president approval

Improved working conditions in industry and outlawed child Labour
Set fair wages and sensible levels of production

Helped to improve working conditions and gave trade unions legal foundation and the right to bargain for their members.

Over 2 million employees joined the scheme
