If a law is in line with society’s current values, then members of society are more inclined to follow that law rather than disregard it

Laws must be enforceable
A
It must be possible to catch and punish or sue people who break the law

Be known
A
The public must know about a law for it to be effective - you cant follow a law if you dont know about it

Laws must be clear and understood
A
Laws must be written in a way where people can understand and the intent of the law must be clear
