Q

Why does increasing temperature, increase the value of K?

A
  • Increasing temperature, shifts the boltzmann distribution to the right and increases the proportion of particles that exceeds EA
  • As temperature increases, the particles move faster and collide more frequently
  • This therefore increases the rate constant due to activation energy
