Schools centralised under Reich ministry of Education, ‘unreliables’ removed from teaching, Nationalist Socialist Teachers League created, Head teachers had to be members of the Nazi party

PE (strength and fitness), German/History (heroism and nationalism), Biology (racial genetics)
What schools were created to produce Nazi elite?
Napolas (state boarding schools ran by SS), Adolf Hitler schools and Ordensburgen (produced elite for Hitler)

Nazis opened very few schools, numbers joining the teaching profession declined, fall in standards, Grammar schools > Nazi schools
