What is formal education?
Learning a set of subjects in classrooms in organised educational institutions.
What is informal education?
The hidden curriculum is a side affect of an education (lessons) which are learned but not openly intended,such as norms,values and beliefs conveyed within the classroom.

What is the self fulfilling labelling prophesy?
A prediction that’s directly or indirectly caused itself to become true,by the very terms of the prophecy itself due to positive feedback between beliefs and behaviour.
What is a gender domain?
Places that are specific to one gender.
Give one example of why pupils may hesitate to pick gender predicted subjects.

Which sex performs better within school?
Girls do better in coursework based subjects,whereas boys do better in exam based subjects.
Give one reason why boys underperform?
- Teaching is female dominated(lack of male role models)
