Biome
A major ecological community such as grassland, tropical rain forest, or desert.
Food chain
A model that shows one set feeding relationships among living things.
Food web
A model that shows many different feeding relationships among living things.
Prey
An animal that is haunted and eaten by another animal.
Predator
An animal that naturally preys on others.
Decomposer
An organism, especially a soil backtium, fungus, or invertebrate, that decomposes organic material.
Coniferous
Of mostly evergreen trees and scrubs.
Consumer
A person or thing that eats or uses something.
Biotic Factors
A living thing, as an animal or plant, that influences or effects an ecosystem.
Succession
The coming of one person or thing after another in order, sequence, or in the course of events.
Abiotic factor
A non living, for example soil.
Energy pyramid
It is a graph.
Water cycle
The continual movement of water between the land, ocean, and the air.
