An animal that hunts or eats another animal.

An animal that is hunted and eaten by another animal.
Prey
Organisms that share the same characteristics and features belong to the same species. Animals that belong to the same species can reproduce and create offspring. Pets like cats, dogs, and goldfish are each a different species

The amount of species in one area
Population
A group of different populations that live together and interact in an environment.
Community
the variety of species that exists in an environment.
Biodiversity
The part of the Earth in which life can exist.
Biosphere
a model that shows one set of feeding relationships among living things
Food Chains
A food web shows all the animals in an area and what they eat. In a food web diagram, arrows point from one animal to the animal that eats it.

a major ecological community such as grassland, tropical rain forest, or desert

all the living and nonliving things in an area that interract with each other

the place or role that an organism has in its habitat
Niche
a relationship between two species of a plant, animal, or fungus in which one lives off the other and both organisms benefit
Mutualism
a relationship between two species of a plant, animal, or fungus in which one lives with, on, or in the other without damage to either
Commenalism
A relationship in which one organism benefits and the other organism is harmed
Parasitism
Bacteria in the soil affix other elements to gaseous nitrogen making it usable to plants and animals

Nitrogen gases are affix to precipitation molecules

refers to a relationship between two kinds of organisms that lasts over time.
