A
The Mit’a System was originally the Incas.
That required some male Amerindians to work two to four months for Portuguese/Spanish masters

A
A system that gave Spanish settlers right to force natives to work their mines/fields.
Spanish settlers also responsible for well-being of workers and converting to Christianity.

A
Spanish silver mines in Pera and Mexico. Agricultural plantations (Haciendas)
