The natural, logical result of an action.
EX: Because Sophie didn’t do her homework, she got a homework slip.
Present Consequence
Results in the time of the “now” of an action.
EX: I saved $15.00 for a hair clip! Woo-hoo!
Future Consequence
The results of an action that will impact your future.
EX: I can buy a hat from the $15.00 I saved! Yippee!
Cost
A bad consequence.
EX: Oh, crap! I forgot to call Meg! Now she can’t come over!
Benefit
A good consequence.
EX: I called Meg, so we can hang out after school! Yay!
Individual
A person, place, or thing that is alone.
EX: I used to always be alone, until my best friend, Clara, invited me to sit with her at lunch when I was new.
Scarcity
When there aren’t enough resources to go around.
EX: The store didn’t have a lot of clothing in stock because the delivery would be late, so they needed to close down until the deliveries came.
Economics
Money.
EX: Because my group did a great job on our money project, we earned a lot of cold hard CASH!!!
Natural Resources
The resources found in nature.
EX: My group found a lot of sticks, mushrooms, dirt, mud, water, & sand in the forest for our project.
