How does photosynthesis work?

A
  1. The plants gather in carbon dioxide from the air and replace it with oxygen
  2. The oxygen and carbon dioxide in the air turn into glucose on the leaves
  3. The Sun’senergy turns the carbon dioxide and water into glucose.
  4. Glucose combines with the minerals from the soil to make plants grow. These minerals are called nutrients.
