ECGs Flashcards
What is shown on this ECG?

This ECG shows ST elevation in leads V2-V6, consistent with a complete left coronary artery occlusion
What is shown on this ECG?

Atrial FIbrillation
What is shown on this ECG?

Pericarditis
What is shown on this ECG?

LBBB
What is shown on this ECG?

Complete heart block
3rd degree: P waves independent of QRS, and you can also get P waves hidden in T waves so looks taller than normal, can be regular heart beat but P at different rate to QRS
WHAT IS THE MANAGEMENT?
- Temporary pacemaker, transfer for a permanent pacemaker
- 1st degree: no treatment needed
- 2nd degree: if symptomatic treat, it is usually intermittent, can convert to 3rd or 1st if converts to 3rd pacemaker (if they are feeling dizzy)

Atrial Fibrillation
What is shown on this ECG?

Fast Atrial Fibrillation
What is shown on this ECG?

Atrial Flutter
What is shown on this ECG?

Ventricular Tachycardia
What is shown on this ECG?

- LVH BY VOLTAGE CRITERIA
- deep S wave in V1 and tall R wave in V6 >7 squares
- LVH is suggestive of hypertension

What is shown on this ECG?

- Normal Sinus Rythmn
- 3rd Degree AV Block (Complete Heart Block)
- Osborne waves consistent with hypothermia
- Non-specific ST-T wave abnormalities
