What criteria must be met on ECG to identify true ST elevation?
A
> 1mm ST elevation in at least 2 continguous leads (e.g. 2 anterior leads)
V2-V3 require 2mm
N.B. 1mm is 1 small box vertically

What are causes of ST elevation?
A
- STEMI
- Benign early repolarisation
- Pericarditis
- Vasospam (Prinzmetal angina)
- Pulmonary embolism
- LV aneurysm
- LV hypertrophy
- LBBB
