ECG EXAM Flashcards
Monomorphic Ventricular Tachycardia
Right Bundle Branch Block :
V1 : t wave negative
V1 : R complex positive
Premature Junctional Contraction :
No p wave one topic beat
Wide etopic QRS complex
Second Degree AV Block Type 1 :
PVC with Ventricular tachycardia
Normal Sinus Rhythm :
Atrial Flutter
Single Chamber Pacemaker :
The pacing spike is before a p wave therefore atrial pacemaker
Multifocal Atrial Tachycardia :
Atrial Fibrillation :
Sinus Arrhythmia :
Sinus Rhythm
Monomorphic Ventricular Tachycardia
Sinus Arrest / Pause
1st Degree AV block :
Prolonged PR interval
2nd Degree AV Block type 1 : DJ winkeyback
Drop beat after prolonging PR interval
Unifocal PVC :
Sinus Arrhythmia :
Irregular RR interval
Sinus Tachycardia :
HR > 100
Premature Atrial Contraction :
P wave on etopic beat
Wandering Atrial Pacemaker :
All the p waves are different
Multifocal Atrial Tachycardia
Bigeminy PVC :
Every second etopic beat is a PVC
Wide and Bizzare QRS
Discordance
3rd Degree AV block :
P waves are regular
R-R intervals regular
NO ventricular and Atrial relationship (NO match up)
Ventricular Escape Rhythm :
Wide QRS
HR : 20 - 40
NO atrial activity
Polymorphic Ventricular Tachycardia
No relationship between complexes
All coming form different etopic sites
Multifocal PVC :
2x etopic beats coming from different etopic sites as they are displayed differently
Discordance
Wide / bizarre QRS complex
