ECG Changes + Territories Flashcards
V1-V4 - territory + coronary artery?
Anteroseptal - left anterior descending
II, III, aVF - territory + coronary artery?
Inferior - right coronary
V1-6, I, aVL - territory + coronary artery?
Anterolateral - proximal left anterior descending
I, aVL, +/- V5-6 - territory + coronary artery?
Lateral - left circumflex
V1-3, horizontal ST depression, tall broad R waves, upright T waves (reciprocal changes of STEMI) - territory + coronary artery?
Posterior - left circumflex + right coronary
ECG change confirming posterior infarction?
ST elevation in posterior leads (V7-9)
Down-sloping ST depression, flat T waves, short QT interval, arrhythmias?
Digoxin
U waves, small/absent T waves, long PR interval, ST depression, long QT?
Hypokalaemia
J waves, long QT, bradycardia, 1st degree HB?
Hypothermia
W in V1, M in V6?
LBBB (investigate for ACS if new)
M in V1, W in V6?
RBBB
3 non-ACS causes of LBBB?
Hypertension, aortic stenosis, cardiomyopathy (think LV dysfunction)
Long-lasting ECG changes after MI?
T wave inversion (days to months)
Q waves (indefinitely)
Increased P wave?
Cor pulmonale
Broad notched/bifid P waves?
Left atrial enlargement classically mitral stenosis
