10mm/mv
ecg procedure for dextocardia ?
always run 2 ecgs, first one normal sensor placement, second one with all sensors reversed on right side; telememed comment: reversed v1-v6, dextocardia
2 types of artefact ?
wondering baseline, somatic tremors
Causes of wandering baseline
Bigger body mvts , poor/loose electrode connection
causes of somatic tremors?
shivers, any muscle mvt , fear , discomfort, parkinsons, cold
Some solutions for wonderbaseline artefacts ?
check comfort patients, make sure electrode connections are in place
Some solutions for somatic tremors?
Blanket , explain procedure , encourage them to relax , move sensors up on limbs, re-record tracing
