iBill (Internet Billing)
EB’s online billing system, available internally to associates and externally to policyholders.
PDF (Portable Document Format)
A file format designed to present documents consistently across multiple devices and platforms.
WONE
An enterprise system used to order printed materials from CSS.
ACCU (American United Census Conversion Utility)
A home-grown tool used to convert a policyholder’s Excel census to a .csv format so that it can be easily imported into iBill.
AUL Desktop
A home-grown tool originally designed as a billing system for policyholders. It is currently used to create enrollment materials. It has also been called OneSource and eBill.
Dom Doc
An enterprise system used to store documents. Once a policy has been created through xPression, it is stored here. When an associate or policyholder goes to the Employee Benefits website (eBen) to retrieve their policy, it is pulled from this system.
Control + D Online Viewing
An Enterprise system where reports and bills can be viewed and printed.
GAIN (Group Associates Information Network)
EB’s premium and contract administration system. It is used to generate policy numbers and contracts, pay claims, administer premium, and calculate commissions. All policyholders have a record in GAIN. This is also sometimes called the AS400 system.
IMS21 (Imaging Management System)
A system that stores images of documents such as contracts, bills, policyholder and employee files, emails, and other records. These files are categorized by policyholder and employee number and can be retrieved for viewing and printing. This system was replaced by AWD, but is still used to access historical information.
RAPS (Rating and Proposal System)
EB’s home-grown online rating and proposal system used primarily by underwriting to determine plan offerings and pricing for new and existing business.
REPS (Representatives for the Enterprise and Producer Support)
An enterprise database used to capture and manage agent information.
TRECS (Total Reconciliation System)
An enterprise system used to track premium. Every division has designated accounts where money is held until it is applied to the system of record. For EB this is GAIN.
xPression
An enterprise customer communications management (CCM) platform used to publish customer-facing documents such as contracts and bills.
eBen (www.employeebenefits.com)
This site is used both internally by associates and externally by policyholders and employees to locate information and forms.
CMOD (Content Manager on Demand)
An enterprise repository containing computer-generated reports.
