A satellite is anything that orbits a planet or a star.
What are artificial and natural satellites?
Artificial satellites could be the ISS. Natural satellites could be the Moon.
What is a lunar eclipse?
A lunar eclipse occurs when the Earth is between the Moon and the Sun.
What is a solar eclipse?
A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon is between the Earth and the Sun.
What are opaque objects?
Opaque objects that block out sunlight cause shadows.
How are shadows longer and shorter?
Shadows are longer when the Sun is lower in the sky and shadows are shorter when the Sun is higher in the sky.
