What is the Expected date of delivery (EDD)?
280 days (40 weeks) from the 1st day of last menstrual period (LMP)
What is the definition of miscarriage?
Any pregnancy loss before 24 weeks gestation
What is the definition of stillbirth?
Any fetus born dead at or after 24 weeks gestation
What is the definition of livebirth?
A fetus which shows sign of life after delivery at any gestation
What is the definition of a threatened miscarriage?
Bleeding with continuing intrauterine pregnancy
What is the definition of a inevitable miscarriage?
Bleeding with non-continuing intrauterine pregnancy

Incomplete passage of pregnancy tissue

All pregnancy tissue expelled and uterus now empty

aka early embryonic demise

Miscarriage complicated by intrauterine infection

3 or more consequetive miscarriages
