What defines an early period?
- 9 days early, cycle is less than 28 days
- Two successive periods
- Bleeding may be normal, scanty or heavy
Early periods: loose stools, epigastric distention, tiredness
T: Pale
P: Weak

Define bleeding between periods?
- Bleeding that occurs consistently at about the mid-point of the cycle
- Bleeding may last 1-2 days, or longer (may be mistakenly diagnosed as Early Period)
- Different from Early periods, Flooding & trickling (before & after period) and Red leukorrhea (may appear to be blood)
What is “Heat”?
Bleeding that occurs at mid-cycle or at the time of ovulation; the ovulatory phase
