Key Aspects of Part B

Eligibility determination for IEP

- physical, cognitive, communication, social or emotional, adaptive or self-help skills
Varies by state
KS - 25% (or more than 1.5 SD away from mean) in ONE area OR 20% (more than 1 SD) in TWO areas
MO - 50% delay in at least ONE area
