Articles of confederation

Constitutional Convention
A meeting held in 1787 to talk abt the weak government articles of confederation
Virginia plan
Plan proposed by James Madison to benefit larger states for rep and based on the state’s population
New Jersey plan
Benefit-small states(reps for all equal despite the population)
Great compromise
the agreement by which Congress would have two houses, the Senate (where each state gets equal representation-two senators) and the House of Representatives (where representation is based on population).
