there was a lot of carbon which was released by all of the volcanos and a lot of water vapor , nitrogen then the water condensed into rain witched formed seas and oceans as the earth began to stabilise there was a lot of carbon not that much oxygen.

2.7 billion years ago algae were formed and used photo synesis this produced oxygen as a waste gas the next billion of years or so the oxygen leves rose stedly as the algue and bactria wear thriving more and more plant evolved
