how is sound interpreted by the ear?
A
- sound waves are picked up by the ear lobe and send them to the ear cannel.
- the sound waves travel aong the ear canal to ear drum.
- the vibrations travel through the ossicles.
- liquid inside the cochlea vibrate and the auditory nerve detects these vibrations and turns them into an electrical signal
- this signal is transmitted by to the brain.

a spiral shaped shell in the ear that changes sound into nerve messages and send them to the brain.
