  • pulse frequency: 35-50 (35-70 if unable to get contraction)
  • pulse duration: 150-200 for smaller muscules/250-300 for larger
  • amplitude: recovery = 10% MVIC or strengthening = 50% of MVIC
  • on/off times: start 10/50 - progress 10/30
  • ramp time: 1-4 seconds
  • treatment time: 10-30 minutes based on desired # of contractions
