• disorder of motor planning/ executive function
• no significant findings on neuro exam
• disorder of higher cortical processes
• problems with perception
• features (problems with following):
  
  • _​_handwriting: awkward, messy, slow, irregular and poorly spaced
  • dressing: buttons, lace, clothes
  • cutting up food
  • copying and drawing
  • messy eating
    
    • inco-ordinated biting, chewing and swallowing (oromotor dyspraxia)
    • drooling is common
• input required from OT/ SALT teams
