Definition of dyspepsia.
A
Predominant epigastric pain lasting at least 1 month. This can be associated with epigastric fullness, n/v, or heartburn, provided the primary concern is epigastric pain.

Management for patient > 60 with dyspepsia.
A
- Endoscopy
* Manage according to guidelines.

Management for patient < 60 with dyspepsia.
A
- Test (and treat) for H. pylori, if positive.
- If negative, start PPI.
- If no response, start TCA or prokinetic.
- If no response, consider psychotherapy.
