– Looking for a stable joint, no mvt (hands: sacrum, PSIS & iliac crest)
• Hip: alignment, stability, ms activation
– Looking for mvt in sagittal plane (hands: iliac crest, greater trochanter) – Looking for gluts/ hip ER activation (more than TFL)
• Knee: alignment, stability
– Looking for knee over toes (mid-patella to 2nd toe) (hands: femur, tibia) – Looking for mvt in sagittal plane only (no side to side mvt of the knee)
• Foot: arch position
– Looking for good arch position (thumb & index on talus, no add mvt)

– Torso flexors endurance
- Sit up hold at 55° of trunk flexion – Torso extensors endurance
- On machine or table at waist level keeping trunk in line with arms crossed on chest
