✘ If no cause - 6months since last seizure
or … 12 months if causative factor that may increase risk (e.g. abnormal EEG)

GROUP 2
✘ First unprovoked or provoked… 5 years then can restart if no antiepileptics ever and neuro investigations concluding risk <2%/year
