Ensure first aid equipment is checked both at the start and on completion of the duty
Respond to all crash messages and practices in accordance with the Station Crash and Disaster plan
Carry the mobile phone/bleep/radio at all times
Make a written report of occurrences in the Occurrence and significant event register
Record all patients contacts on to the DMICP in the normal manner. If a duty medic does this, the consultation report is to be made available to the DMO at the start of normal duty house
Assume responsibility for the administration of treatment as directed by the MO
Assume responsibility for the welfare of inpatients in the medical entre after normal duty hours
Ensure the medical centre remains secure at all times
