Du 20
Which point on the Du mai would treat heart deficiency? and where it is located?
Du 11, below the 5th spinous process
Trajectory of the Du Mai
Originates in the abdomen, between the kidneys
Goes internally to the pubic bone or the uterus and around the vagina in women or penis in men. Du mai travels from there to the perineum, to the buttocks and communicates there with the Kidney and the bladder channel
From perineum it also ascends over the spine to GV 6 where a branch enters the brain continues over the the vertex to the junction of the upper lip and upper gum (GV28). At GV 12 it connects with UB 12 to reconnect with GV 13
Abdominal branch ascends from the perineum over the umbilicus, past the heart, thraot, chin and around the lips to the eyes.
Points to strength the back, central back pain resulting from Kidney Qi, Yin or Yang xu
