- Development of withdrawal (can be relieved by taking more)
What is an exclusion for criteria 10 and 11 for SUD?
Criteria cannot be given if taking prescribed drugs under supervision
Severity criteria of SUD in DSM V?
- Mild = 2-3 symptoms
- Moderate = 4-5 symptoms
- Severe = 6+ symptoms
How is SUD severity accounted for by licensed professionals (generally)?
They tend to include a more holistic view (e.g., specific consequences and behavioural patterns related to use), and not just the DSM quantity measure
